Your Role:

As an Engineer-in-Training focused on Operational Technology Systems, you will be reporting directly to the Manager of OT Systems & Compliance. This role is essential in ensuring that our cybersecurity practices are up to par with industry standards, thus contributing to the reliability of Alberta's electricity supply.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and recommend cybersecurity controls relevant to the OT domain.
Conduct integration testing for new cybersecurity measures alongside various security systems.
Ensure compliance with ARS CIP and non-CIP standards, as well as ISO27001/27019.
Evaluate technical change requests concerning security and compliance risks.
Collaborate with multiple teams to embed compliance into everyday processes.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain compliance and security procedures.
Conduct assessments to identify compliance gaps and risks.
Identify areas for continuous improvement, including automation opportunities.
Provide training on compliance standards and best practices.
Assist business units in investigating compliance breaches and support corrective measures.
