Your Role:

As an Engineer-in-Training focused on Operational Technology Systems, you will be reporting directly to the Manager of OT Systems & Compliance. This role is essential in ensuring that our cybersecurity practices are up to par with industry standards, thus contributing to the reliability of Alberta's electricity supply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and recommend cybersecurity controls relevant to the OT domain.
  • Conduct integration testing for new cybersecurity measures alongside various security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ARS CIP and non-CIP standards, as well as ISO27001/27019.
  • Evaluate technical change requests concerning security and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to embed compliance into everyday processes.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain compliance and security procedures.
  • Conduct assessments to identify compliance gaps and risks.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement, including automation opportunities.
  • Provide training on compliance standards and best practices.
  • Assist business units in investigating compliance breaches and support corrective measures.
