About the Role

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering your teams towards successful project delivery and execution. You will oversee comprehensive technical planning and ensure that product requirements are effectively transformed into actionable tasks. Your leadership will facilitate collaboration among engineers, product managers, QA specialists, and UX designers. This position demands a robust understanding of software design and development, along with the capability to plan, execute, and deliver product features on time and with precision. Additionally, you will be responsible for upholding high technical standards, managing team resources, and ensuring that project milestones are achieved efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across diverse teams within your product area, ensuring predictable and high-quality results.
  • Assess business and product requirements for technical feasibility and architectural consistency, translating them into clear EPICs and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Plan and guide sprint execution with well-defined objectives, utilizing project management tools to set timelines, milestones, and identify dependencies early.
  • Advocate for engineering processes and rituals that promote effective collaboration, accountability, and team productivity.
  • Track team velocity and capacity to optimize resource allocation, proactively balancing workload against delivery commitments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing team performance and project outcomes.
