The Role

We are in search of an Engineering Manager for a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave for 6 to 12 months. This role offers the opportunity to lead an established team, ensuring continuity in leadership, project delivery, and team development during this critical period.

This hands-on leadership position requires a balance of project management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and Delivery teams across various regions to guarantee your team consistently achieves high-quality results while fostering a strong, collaborative team culture.

Location

This role is available in a fully remote capacity for candidates located in Romania.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily team operations, ensuring predictable, high-quality results that align with product and business objectives.
Facilitate delivery rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; continuously enhance team performance.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to refine backlogs, clarify requirements, and align on priorities and timelines.
Work together with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Principal Engineers to ensure technical alignment and cohesive delivery plans.
Maintain operational excellence, focusing on system reliability, incident management, and support processes.
