Role Overview

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the successful execution of projects within your teams, overseeing the entire technical planning process. You will be integral in converting product requirements into actionable tasks and fostering collaboration among engineers, product managers, QA, and UX teams. This role demands a profound understanding of software design and development, along with the ability to deliver product features efficiently and predictably. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining high technical standards, managing team workloads, and ensuring project milestones are achieved promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project delivery and execution across cross-functional teams, assessing business and product requirements for feasibility, and aligning them with existing product architecture.
  • Plan and organize sprints with clear objectives, utilizing project management tools to define timelines, delivery milestones, and early identification of task dependencies, while promoting effective engineering processes.
  • Monitor team velocity to ensure optimal resource allocation, balancing workload with task demands, and coordinating alignment among various stakeholders to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to critical projects by ensuring adherence to appropriate design patterns and coding standards. Actively participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to high-quality benchmarks.
