Role Overview: Engineering Manager, Consumer Core
Based in Austin, the Engineering Manager will lead the Consumer Core team. This full-stack group builds and maintains the core architecture and security that power Upside’s main product platform. The team works with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) on the front end, and Python and Java on the back end. Their work enables other Consumer full-stack teams to deliver features across the user journey.
This manager will combine technical depth with a people-centered leadership style. The role involves guiding operational practices, supporting team growth, and scaling systems to meet Upside’s evolving needs. Collaboration with other engineering leaders is central, especially when shaping strategies for Consumer and Partnerships applications and systems.
