About the Role

As an Engineering Tools Specialist – COMOS at AFRY, you will work with Siemens COMOS, a powerful engineering and information management tool designed for the structured management of technical plant data throughout its lifecycle, from design and planning to operation and maintenance. COMOS serves as a central platform across sectors such as process industries, energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, and manufacturing, often acting as the hub in an integrated system landscape.
This role has a strong development focus and involves the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of COMOS, including data models, system integrations, and information flows. You will be the technical expert and super user, supporting project teams and clients throughout the lifecycle of the plant.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Working with COMOS modeling, database structure, and object management
Leading and driving COMOS implementations in projects
Enhancing COMOS through configuration, adaptations, and technical solutions
Collaborating with system integrations to other tools and systems (E3D, EPLAN, PCS7/PAA, etc.)
Supporting disciplines such as process, electrical, instrumentation, and automation
