New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new enterprise clients in the DACH region, focusing on organizations with revenues exceeding $500M. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation to closure. Account Expansion: Increase revenue within existing enterprise accounts by discovering new use cases, upselling Aiven services, and enhancing customer commitments beyond baseline usage. Craft strategic account plans to maximize mutual value. Executive Engagement: Cultivate trustworthy relationships with C-suite and VP-level executives, along with leaders in development, DevOps, and product management. Challenge existing data infrastructure paradigms and present a compelling vision of how Aiven can enhance business outcomes. Solution Selling: Develop expertise in Aiven’s platform and the open-source technologies we offer, including Kafka and PostgreSQL, to effectively articulate value to prospects and clients.

Your Impact

As an Enterprise Account Executive targeting the DACH region, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth by acquiring new enterprise clients and nurturing existing high-value accounts (those generating over $500M in revenue). This high-impact role is pivotal in expanding our footprint in a key market, where you will focus on securing new contracts, increasing usage metrics, and deepening customer commitments.

In this position, you will engage directly with C-level executives and senior stakeholders across technical and business domains (such as CTO, CIO, VP of Engineering, and Head of Product). Utilize Aiven's established sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC qualification, the Challenger Sales approach, and Command of the Message, to navigate complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing. If you possess a proven track record in enterprise SaaS sales, excel in outcome-driven selling, and are passionate about enabling enterprises to thrive with innovative open-source data technologies, we encourage you to apply.
