What You Need to Succeed:Authenticity and a genuine passion for engaging with manufacturing clients in Japan to understand their business challenges. Creative thought leadership and a Challenger Mindset; the capability to leverage customer insights and technology expertise to position Pure's offerings as solutions to persistent issues. A proactive hunter with a proven track record in prospecting, adept at opening doors to new clients and navigating between executive meetings and technical discussions, effectively advocating for the advantages of Pure Storage solutions. Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to easily build and cultivate relationships over time. Proficient in assessing, planning, and actively managing a territory to maximize revenue and operational efficiency. Experience leading intricate sales processes with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership both internally and with partners. Documented success in exceeding sales quotas and generating referable business. A strong commitment to post-sales customer success. Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience focused on acquiring new business or developing accounts. Prior sales experience within the financial industry is highly desirable. Deep knowledge of the finance sector. Moderate English reading comprehension is required for job-related tasks.

In this role, you will:

  • Champion our groundbreaking all-flash enterprise storage solutions and data technology, ensuring manufacturing clients in Japan fully appreciate Pure's comprehensive value proposition.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers to continuously demonstrate Pure's value, striving for the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry.
  • Lead pursuit teams and create strategic account plans to ensure all internal resources are aligned to successfully acquire new Pure customers.
  • Drive and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
