Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure new business opportunities to consistently achieve or surpass quarterly sales targets. Develop a deep understanding of Verkada's product offerings and their positioning within the industry. Oversee the complete sales process: from prospecting new clients to conducting online demonstrations, crafting proposals, and closing deals. Ensure precise pipeline management with high-level forecasting accuracy. Proactively exceed targets related to outbound calls, emails, online demos, and trials on a quarterly basis. Act as a trusted advisor and expert resource for customers and channel partners. Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless product launches and promote future growth. Provide valuable market and client feedback to Verkada’s product and engineering teams. Qualifications5-10+ years of proven sales experience consistently exceeding quotas, specifically working with technology vendors selling enterprise solutions to state agencies. Expertise in government procurement processes, security standards, and regulations. Experience in responding to government RFIs and RFPs. A successful track record of developing new territories and acquiring net new clients in an enterprise software context. A strong hunter mentality complemented by solid sales DNA. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
