Key Responsibilities:Design and construct fluid, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems for diverse testing applications. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot fluid, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems. Manage project schedules effectively. Create comprehensive test procedures. Conduct hazard analyses. Perform in-depth test data analysis. Safely operate high-pressure and cryogenic systems. As part of a small team, assist with daily site operations such as shipping and receiving, and administrative tasks. Qualifications:Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a related field.0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships and participation in college organizations. Experience in creating P&IDs. Proficiency in integrating and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems. Experience in high-pressure or hazardous environments is a plus. Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods.

Role Overview: Entry-Level Test Engineer

This position is based at Stoke’s Moses Lake, WA test site. Test Engineers here play a direct role in developing reusable rocket systems by enabling rapid hardware testing. The job involves hands-on work with both hardware and software, spanning mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Operate and maintain test stands for rocket components, engines, and stage vehicles
  • Contribute to both hardware and software aspects of testing
