Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental remediation and/or reclamation projects. Demonstrated experience in managing Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments. At least 6 years of proven project management experience. A valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications15+ years of relevant industry experience. Professional designation (P. Eng., P. Geo., or P. Ag.) in Nova Scotia. Familiarity with CCME and Atlantic RBCA environmental regulations and guidelines. Experience with regulatory applications and documentation in Alberta. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and client management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of impactful projects across diverse sectors such as energy, mining, industrial, municipal, provincial, and federal domains.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental assessment and remediation projects with expertise.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor project performance to guarantee adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Maintain regular communication with regulators, clients, and internal technical teams.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, regulatory submissions, and project documentation.
  • Strategically develop proposals and budgets for new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Oversee subcontractors, field personnel, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Demonstrate personal leadership in safety throughout all project executions.
