As an ETL Test Engineer at Telefónica Tech, you will engage in a dynamic work environment within our Pune office, collaborating with colleagues from our UK and Bulgaria offices. This role may occasionally require your availability beyond standard working hours, including weekends and on-call support.
The Data Quality Analyst is essential in designing and executing our Data Quality framework, coordinating technical and business resources throughout the testing process. Key responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of quality assurance testing deliverables and supporting delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements for completeness and accuracy.
- Evaluate business requirements against technical specifications, particularly in data modeling.
- Develop high-level test scenarios and manual test cases.
- Create validation scripts for automated execution and generate actionable data quality reports to track trends.
- Monitor test pipelines and analyze test outputs to report defects.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Data Analysts/Scientists, Development teams, and Product Owners to validate and ensure the accuracy of data across multiple source systems.
- Participate in defect triage and sprint ceremonies.
- Engage in both automated and manual ETL testing across several scrum teams.
- Contribute to the architectural design of data quality practices with the technical team, focusing on DQ design, specifications, data modeling, and documentation of logical processing flows.
- Conduct agile testing and develop, document, and implement data quality standards.
- Regularly review and interpret QA results and findings with minimal support from senior leadership.
