Key Responsibilities
As an Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading evaluations encompassing scoping, planning, designing, data collection, analysis, and report drafting;
- Coordinating evaluations with multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and external consultants;
- Researching, analyzing, and presenting data from various sources to support evaluation tasks;
- Creating evaluation designs, including drafting inception papers and terms of reference;
- Conducting data collection through qualitative and quantitative methods and interpreting results;
- Preparing and presenting evaluation findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations;
- Drafting detailed evaluation reports that integrate feedback from stakeholders;
- Ensuring that evaluation processes adhere to professional and ethical standards;
- Delivering briefings and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders;
- Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of evaluation recommendations;
- Contributing to the enhancement of the evaluation function's efficiency and effectiveness;
- Conducting training workshops and facilitating internal evaluation processes;
- Supporting organizational meetings, conferences, and working groups;
- Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and insights;
- Utilizing data visualization tools to effectively present findings through charts, graphs, and reports.
