Duties
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them as needed.
- Efficiently process sales transactions using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Restock shelves and keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing.
- Supervise junior staff members as necessary, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory and customer feedback.
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cash handling is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to learn about products and participate in ongoing training.
