Role Overview:
We are currently looking for an Event Sales Representative to engage with homeowners at various community events, festivals, and home shows throughout the region. Your primary objective will be to generate leads and secure appointments for our sales team, all while embodying the brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
This part-time, entry-level position includes paid training and an opportunity to develop essential skills in sales, negotiation, strategic planning, and closing techniques. It’s an excellent chance to express your creativity in communication while enjoying your work with one of the largest home remodeling companies in the United States.
We value customer-facing experience from any industry. While backgrounds in sales, hospitality, retail, food service, education, or service are common, we welcome applicants with experience in any role that requires strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills, traits crucial for success in this role. While prior experience in event marketing is advantageous, it is not a necessity.
Typical Event Day Responsibilities:
- Travel and Transportation Requirements: As an Event Sales Representative, you will be required to travel to various event locations, including home shows, community festivals, craft fairs, and other local events with significant foot traffic; typically within a designated area. Reliable transportation is crucial to ensure timely and consistent attendance.
- Setup & Physical Demands: Event Sales Representatives are expected to set up branded booths or displays, which may involve signage, promotional materials, and product samples. This role requires physical activity and the ability to manage various tasks during events.
