Qualifications
Responsibilities:Architect and deploy effective network infrastructures, incorporating LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet systems. Install and configure essential network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools. Conduct regular network maintenance and monitoring to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability, swiftly addressing any issues that arise. Assess network performance and create strategies for optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with IT infrastructures. Keep abreast of emerging network technologies and propose enhancements to our network systems. Document network architecture, policies, and procedures comprehensively. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering. Extensive knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, VLAN, and VPN. Proven experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures using various hardware and software products, including Cisco, HP, Juniper, and Fortinet. Hands-on experience with network security solutions like firewalls, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, and SIEM. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, and SolarWinds. Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
