QualificationsAssociate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred. A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience is required. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Experience in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, or related practice areas is a plus. Ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in scheduling depositions, mediations, and hearings.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PIP Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our accomplished attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-trial preparations to post-trial follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
  • File all court documents electronically in both state and federal courts.
  • Facilitate communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and factual investigations.
  • Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses.
  • Draft and serve summons.
  • Summarize and coordinate depositions.
  • Create comprehensive trial binders and exhibits.
  • Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents for court filing.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling hearings and managing case files.
  • Maintain accurate pleadings and discovery indexes.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
  • Support attorneys with discovery requests and interrogatories.
  • Gather pertinent information from diverse sources.
  • Act as a liaison between trial teams and both internal and external third parties.
  • Prepare witnesses for trial.
  • Assist with case settlements and perform additional tasks as directed by attorneys.
