Based in Bordeaux, France, this Principal Accountant role supports the company’s international growth by managing accounting activities for multiple entities, including operations in Germany, the United States, Italy, and other European countries. Role overview This position focuses on maintaining accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with both local and international accounting standards. The Principal Accountant collaborates closely with regional finance teams and external advisors to support the company’s expanding operations. Deliver precise financial reporting for multiple entities Maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards Facilitate collaboration with internal finance teams and external partners Success in this role requires strong technical accounting skills, experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments, and a background working with international teams. Key responsibilities Financial accounting and reporting Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP as needed Oversee multi-currency accounting and consolidation Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and supporting schedules International entity oversight Coordinate accounting activities for entities in the United States, Italy, and other European locations Ensure all entities meet local statutory and regulatory requirements Work closely with local accountants, regional finance teams, and external service providers Compliance and controls Ensure adherence to group accounting policies and internal controls Support internal audits and external financial reviews as required

To facilitate the development and qualification of these systems, we are constructing a variety of test facilities. As a skilled Propulsion Control Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing control algorithms for our propulsion test facilities.Key Responsibilities:Develop open-loop and closed-loop control algorithms for various test bench processes, including pressure regulation, mass flow control, and temperature management.Collaborate with test operations engineers and software developers to translate physical system requirements into robust real-time control logic implemented on Beckhoff PLC hardware, high-speed DAQ systems, and tailored operator interfaces.Simulate control strategies under various conditions, including nominal, transient, and off-nominal scenarios.Conduct stability analyses, including gain/phase margins and open-loop/closed-loop responses.Plan and execute verification of control algorithms through hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and commissioning processes to ensure functionality.Convert simulated control logic into real-time implementable PLC code (using TwinCAT structured text, function blocks, state machines) in collaboration with control and automation engineers.Troubleshoot and resolve control issues alongside test operators and the test bench control team.Assist in safety reviews, FMEA, and hazard analyses for the control systems of the test facilities.Implement safety interlocks and fail-safe transitions based on hazard analyses.Perform technical assessments to identify the most suitable hardware, software, and system configurations.
