Qualifications
The candidate must be proficient in executing non-destructive testing procedures as per company guidelines, including:Visual Inspection (Flash furnace boiler, mechanical integrity), external and internal inspections of acid plants and auxiliary systems to identify deviations that may cause process deficiencies, which must be reported immediately to the lead coordinator. General external inspection covering main supply lines, structural integrity of equipment, structural bases, beams, feeding systems, circulation systems, control valves, relief valves, dome inspection, acid plants, and inspections in thermal power plants (main lines, tanks), focusing on mechanical integrity in boilers and subsystems. General internal inspection of equipment including gas ducts, boiler hearth, radiation paths, convection paths, collectors, and more.

Join our team at SGS, a global leader in inspection and certification, for a role in non-destructive testing at the Chuquicamata mining site in the II Region. We are seeking a Level III Expert in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A standards. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in non-destructive testing services.
Proximity to the work site is preferred for this position.
