This position is essential in achieving production objectives by efficiently setting up and operating various CNC machines, mentoring team members, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. BD Diesel Performance is on the lookout for an exceptionally talented and results-oriented CNC Programming Team Lead. This pivotal role will spearhead programming strategies, set machining standards, and drive ongoing enhancements throughout our CNC operations. The Team Lead is tasked with optimizing cycle times, boosting machining efficiency, standardizing programming practices, and elevating the technical capabilities of our machine shop.As the technical authority for CNC programming, you will ensure that we implement best-in-class machining strategies, including optimal tooling selection, feeds and speeds adjustments, and innovative fixture designs. You will also mentor programmers and machinists, enhance throughput, and support new product development by establishing scalable and repeatable machining processes.The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who excels in a high-performance manufacturing environment and has a demonstrated history of reducing cycle times, enhancing quality, and maximizing machine utilization.This position is primarily onsite in Abbotsford and closely collaborates with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations leadership. We offer flexibility with either a 4x10 or a 5x8 schedule.
