You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while managing risks associated with the global diplomatic portfolio.Collaborate closely with the assigned design manager at OBO to ensure that precise and timely technical information is provided to OBO leadership for specific engineering construction projects.Critically evaluate and provide feedback on drawings, calculations, and specifications related to structural and/or blast engineering, including design proposals from various federal agencies that may affect DOS facilities. Align review comments with contract architects and engineers.Act as a primary resource for structural and/or blast engineering design on specific projects, offering comprehensive advice and assistance during the design phase.
