In this pivotal leadership position, you will oversee the daily operations of our accounting department, ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Guarantee prompt and accurate financial reporting in alignment with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
- Establish internal controls to protect corporate assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor job costing, WIP reporting, and financial performance metrics.
- Formulate and assess budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analyses.
- Guide and nurture the accounting team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and facilitate annual audits.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management and engage in critical financial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
