Position Overview: At CMSPI, we are transforming our client engagement strategy by empowering seasoned consulting leaders to take full ownership of strategic accounts. This role combines relationship management, commercial strategy, and delivery oversight. The Principal Consultant will deepen executive relationships, define account direction, ensure top-tier delivery, and expand CMSPI’s market presence by anticipating client needs and crafting solutions that yield measurable results.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of key clients, establishing trusted advisor status and outlining long-term partnership strategies.
- Oversee all engagement deliveries within your accounts, ensuring adherence to methodologies, communication standards, risk management, scope control, and deliverables that meet consulting excellence.
- Maintain clarity among stakeholders and reinforce consistent delivery.
- Drive the commercial strategy for your accounts, from initial discovery through solution development, proposal crafting, negotiation, and closure.
- Provide insight-driven recommendations that enhance CMSPI’s relevance and impact.
- Identify and frame opportunities that align with client priorities, showcasing CMSPI’s capabilities to improve outcomes and broaden account engagement.
- Create multi-year account plans that integrate delivery performance, commercial objectives, relationship development, and pipeline strategies.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
- Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their client-facing skills, providing structured feedback, and exemplifying high standards in delivery and commercial leadership.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, delivery operations, and commercial teams to ensure cohesive execution and a streamlined client experience, minimizing handoffs and fostering integrated ways of working.
- Keep track of financial health across accounts, including revenue, margin, pipeline strength, and delivery performance, using insights to inform prioritization and decision-making.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to capability enhancement across the broader team.
