Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:Must possess either a Social Work or R. N. license. Certification as a Case Manager is required. Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. A minimum of five years of clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Thorough understanding of JCAHO & CMS standards, alongside federal, state, and local laws related to departmental functions. Ability to assess information critically, determine the best course of action, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Capacity to prioritize workload and adjust staffing in response to patient needs is required.
