Job Overview:
We are on the lookout for a talented Infrastructure Software Engineer to architect, oversee, and scale our cloud and server infrastructure while enhancing operational efficiency. You will be an integral part of our Software team, ensuring dependable systems that facilitate our autonomous fleet operations. This role involves a balanced approach to hands-on infrastructure development, system administration, automation, and developer support initiatives.
Infrastructure and Systems Management:
Optimize and manage build systems across on-premise and GovCloud environments, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, backups, and lifecycle automation.
Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) for managing GovCloud infrastructure.
Enhance resource utilization and cost-efficiency in hybrid and multi-account environments.
Ensure secure and reliable data synchronization between cloud and ground systems.
Facilitate efficient developer workflows in cloud applications.
Design and implement disaster recovery mechanisms in collaboration with the enterprise IT team.
Uphold uptime SLAs and promptly address infrastructure incidents.
Networking and Storage:
Configure and manage network devices including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
Oversee core services such as DNS, DHCP, authentication, and certificate management.
Manage high-performance storage systems.
Support essential databases utilized in our autonomy software platform.
Security and Compliance:
Establish and evaluate system security policies affecting developer workflows, RBAC, and network segmentation.
Administer user identity, authentication, and secrets across hybrid environments.
Conduct patching and vulnerability remediation.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit frameworks (e.g., ITAR, FedRAMP).
Automation and Tooling:
Automate server configuration and deployment processes.
