In this pivotal role, you will lead engineering coordination with external data center developers and partners, ensuring that Graphcore’s infrastructure solutions adhere to the utmost standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability. You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical leaders from various engineering disciplines to deliver top-tier mechanical systems for data centers that support high-performance computing environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical engineering knowledge and experience in mission-critical infrastructure settings. This position is based in Austin, Texas, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 10–20% for site visits, inspections, and factory acceptance testing. The Team The Data Center Engineering team focuses on designing, developing, and deploying infrastructure that supports Graphcore’s advanced AI computing platforms. Collaboration is key as we work alongside internal engineering teams, external consultants, and data center developers to create reliable and scalable environments for demanding computing workloads. Our team members span multiple disciplines—including mechanical, electrical, facilities, and IT infrastructure—ensuring that Graphcore’s data center deployments meet rigorous performance, efficiency, and operational reliability standards.
