This position demands keen attention to detail, adherence to safe material handling practices, and effective communication with the production team to align with customer expectations and production timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping:Safeguard products by securely packaging and wrapping them to prevent damage during transit.Ensure paperwork accuracy through ERP systems to confirm the correct quantity and parts are dispatched.Create accurate bills of lading and maintain organized shipping records.Oversee conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or storage areas.Conduct quality inspections on products and packaging compliance prior to shipment.Prepare pallets for delivery by stretch wrapping and organizing.Monitor and track critical shipping items, providing updates to the production team regarding status.Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material movement within the warehouse.Manage recycling efforts as necessary, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and maintaining a tidy workspace.Receiving:Process all inbound shipments, confirming counts and quality against documentation.Deliver in-process materials or components to production areas as required.Perform visual inspections of received items to ensure accuracy and quality.Maintain precise inventory records.Material Handling and Inventory:Conduct inventory stock counts as needed and report discrepancies.
