We are on the lookout for a proactive Senior MEP Systems Engineer to spearhead the comprehensive development of standardized and repeatable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.This position transcends traditional consulting roles, demanding complete ownership from conceptual design to modeling, documentation, prototyping, and ultimately field implementation and commissioning.Key Responsibilities:System Architecture: Define and lead the MEP strategy by establishing repeatable system archetypes, such as heat pump configurations and distribution systems, that align with energy efficiency guidelines and indoor air quality standards.Integration: Guarantee the seamless integration of MEP systems with the building envelope and panelized wall/floor systems while collaborating effectively across Architecture, Structural, Manufacturing, and Construction teams.Engineering Production: Oversee the production of all MEP engineering deliverables, including load calculations, Revit/BIM modeling, system diagrams, specifications, and permit-ready drawings.Prefabrication/DfMA: Align MEP systems with panelized construction methodologies, defining factory versus field components, routing, and standardized interfaces to ensure efficient and repeatable production.Field Engagement: Actively participate in prototyping, hands-on installation, and system validation, refining processes based on field observations and developing comprehensive installation instructions.Commissioning/QA/QC: Lead the commissioning process, including balancing and startup, and develop quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and testing protocols to foster continuous performance enhancement.Standardization: Transform designs into a repeatable platform complete with standardized details, layouts, and scalable configurations.Consultant Coordination: Manage external MEP consultants to ensure compliance with AHC standards.
