Role Overview: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager The EHS Manager will lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety program at Apptronik, with primary responsibility for the Austin, Texas site and oversight of EHS initiatives at other company locations. This role will build, implement, and maintain EHS policies and compliance frameworks to support safe operations across multiple sites. The EHS Manager will also guide the transition from an external EHS provider to an internal department, serving as the main point of contact for all EHS activities. This position combines strategic program development with hands-on execution and close collaboration with Facilities, Operations, and cross-functional teams to support a safe, scalable work environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the EHS program across all company locations, ensuring consistent policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Lead the transition of EHS management from external consultants to internal oversight. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA standards, at all operating sites. Develop and implement scalable safety programs, such as hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSA), and risk mitigation plans. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at the Austin site; support or coordinate audits at other locations as needed. Investigate incidents and safety concerns, and implement corrective and preventative measures across sites. Create and deliver EHS training programs, including onboarding and ongoing compliance training tailored for multiple locations. Maintain all required EHS documentation and reporting.
