About the job
About the Opportunity
This is not your typical sales position; this role offers a unique opportunity to create and manage a hyperlocal magazine in your community, supported by a renowned national company. You will have the chance to cultivate your market, establish client relationships, and develop a sustainable revenue stream.
If you thrive on building relationships and are eager to invest in your own business, this position merges sales, entrepreneurship, and community leadership into a distinctive opportunity.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager (also referred to as Area Directors at N2) to initiate, expand, and oversee a BeLocal publication in your local market. If chosen, you will act as a local publisher, generating revenue, forging partnerships with business owners, and crafting a magazine that embodies the spirit of your community.
Your initial months will be dedicated to establishing your territory and developing your client base. From there, you will have the opportunity to grow an asset that you own.
This hybrid role involves a combination of in-person community engagement and work from your home office.
Who You Are
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated: you find excitement in building something from the ground up, rather than just maintaining it.
- A natural networker with a consultative sales approach.
- Driven by a passion for helping local businesses thrive.
- Confident in leveraging N2's established system and making it uniquely yours.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate consultative meetings with local business owners to form long-term advertising partnerships.
- Foster meaningful relationships within the community through a tested engagement model.
- Connect local businesses to their target customers via your publication.
- Engage with homeowners to gather authentic, community-centric content.
- Oversee your territory, sales pipeline, and publication operations.
- Collaborate with N2's national team for design, production, training, and continuous support.
- Lead the growth of your publication as the representative of Stroll in your market.
What You'll Love
- Ownership, Not Just Employment – Establish and manage a local publication business in your area.
- Flexible Schedule – Tailor your work hours around your lifestyle.
- Comprehensive Training – Benefit from proven, replicable systems to ensure your success.
