This role involves meticulous logging and documentation of all events and parameters, as well as the generation of shift reports as directed by the Operations Manager. Full compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations is paramount, alongside strict adherence to safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures, work permit guidelines, and confined space entry policies.Additionally, the Shift Charge Engineer is responsible for keeping abreast of industry best practices and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency among their team members through formal and informal training sessions.Key Responsibilities:Ensure safe and efficient plant operations during the shift.Contribute insights at daily operational meetings.Issue and manage work permits as a Senior Authorized Person.Oversee isolation and de-isolation procedures in processes.Collaborate effectively with the Operations Manager, Plant Engineer, and other departments.Report any unusual incidents to the Operations Manager or designated representative.Prepare and submit reports on generation, incidents, and near misses.Conduct regular inspections of the power plant, identifying and addressing abnormal conditions.Maintain correspondence records as required under the O&M agreement, PPA, and GSA.
Instrumentation and Control (I&C) EngineerReporting to: Lead Control EngineerResponsibilities:This role involves overseeing, coordinating, and maintaining comprehensive records of all maintenance activities on the plant site.Duties:Manage all maintenance documentation as specified in the Master List of Controlled Documents.Assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to technicians under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.Develop, supervise, and coordinate maintenance activities across the plant.Plan and evaluate the completion of work on plant equipment.Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and draft correspondence related to maintenance tasks.Gain extensive knowledge of the plant's processes and mechanical, instrumentation & control, and electrical systems to troubleshoot issues effectively and lead the maintenance team in resolutions.Provide training to subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance practices.Communicate effectively both verbally and through written documentation.Execute work orders via CMMS and collaborate with C&I Technicians for job completion and technical inquiries.
