The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Manager to oversee Phase 2 of our Tiller Road development. This prestigious project is a collaboration with our partner Riverside, located at the vibrant Canary Wharf. With Stage 3 design set to commence this spring, now is an excellent time to join us, influence the project's direction, and build an exceptional team.
This phase aims to deliver 384 new homes, featuring two high-rise towers exceeding 20 storeys, mid-rise components, and newly created public spaces as part of a broader regeneration initiative. It is a significant and complex project, offering a unique chance to make a lasting impact in one of East London’s most dynamic areas.
You will spearhead the Gateway 2 submission, coordinating the design team to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Regulator. Your role involves meticulous organization of information, ensuring thoroughness and compliance, and facilitating a smooth submission process. This key milestone presents a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your confident, hands-on leadership at a critical stage.
To excel in this role, you should possess substantial experience in managing all design elements of large RC frame residential projects from inception to completion, having engaged in RIBA stages 3-6. You will play a crucial role in appointing a principal designer and consultants, collaborating closely with our commercial team, recruiting your team, chairing design meetings, and implementing robust quality assurance processes through to project delivery.

Balancing daily tasks with foresight, you will proactively identify risks and collaborate with colleagues across various functions to address them before they escalate.
