About the job

As a Functional Tester at nsecure, you will ensure that our applications are technically sound, functionally meet their intended purposes, and align with customer expectations. Your efforts contribute to the development of stable, future-proof software. You will collaborate within a dedicated, multidisciplinary team consisting of developers and consultants who collectively share responsibility for the quality of our YIM platform.

In this role, you will conduct testing independently and systematically, utilizing both manual and automated methods. You will analyze requirements, define testing objectives, and create comprehensive test plans. When necessary, you will implement automated regression tests using tools like Playwright. Furthermore, you will manage the OTAP testing environments and execute tests according to the agreed-upon schedules. Clear reporting on results and proactively advising the team on software and process improvements will be essential.

Your Role as a Tester
Given the critical nature of security and compliance, your work will be diverse: from strategically designing test plans to hands-on testing of new functionalities. In addition to testing, you will analyze incidents, propose improvements, and provide second-line support. Together with a dynamic team, you will continuously optimize YIM to maintain our position as a market leader.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for testing our software system.
You will share responsibility for testing a SaaS solution and thoroughly analyze new software versions.
You will validate functional designs and translate them into concrete test plans and (automated) test scripts.
You will establish test automation, maintain scripts, and ensure smooth execution for optimal software quality.
You will detail findings and draft proactive improvement proposals.
You will collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and the business to continuously optimize testing processes.
