The specialist will work independently to identify and correct discrepancies, support peers, and help improve claim-related processes. Main Responsibilities Review and process adjustments to preneed claims, prioritizing accuracy and meeting deadlines. Validate, process, and track reissued claim payments for beneficiaries and policyholders. Analyze and manage reversals of early payoff transactions, ensuring financial reconciliation is correct. Handle returned initial premium payments, coordinating with other departments for documentation and refunds. Monitor suspense accounts and resolve outstanding items within established timelines and controls. Investigate, correct, and document system errors that impact claim payments or records. Facilitate and reconcile fund movements related to claims, including transfers, adjustments, and refunds. Work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and prevent future errors. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails for all transactions managed.
