We are seeking an engineering intern in the fields of mechanical or electrical engineering at our Beremend factory, aimed at long-term talent development.
What do we offer professionally?
This is not a typical office internship.
You will work in a real production and maintenance environment, gaining insights into the cement manufacturing process from A to Z.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of cement production technology.
- Active participation in production and maintenance processes.
- Familiarization with documentation, technical regulations, and operational guidelines.
- Support for planned annual major maintenance activities.
- Learning operational and troubleshooting procedures.
- After a training period of approximately 6 months, you will handle tasks independently under the supervision of the plant manager.
Professional focus – Depending on the area:
For Electrical Engineering Interns:
- Support for electrical operations.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Learning the fundamentals of PLC/control systems.
For Mechanical Engineering Interns:
- Support for mechanical maintenance processes.
- Assistance with diagnostic and repair tasks.
- Understanding the operation of rotating equipment and industrial machines.
Work will be approximately 70% in the operational environment and 30% with administrative/analytical tasks (SAP, Workday).
Requirements
- BSc student in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (in the last or penultimate semester) or a recent graduate.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 25-30 hours per week (40 hours is also possible).
- Confident English language skills (B2 – both written and spoken).
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Practical orientation.
- Openness to working in a production environment.
- Preferred: technical drawing reading skills.
Important: This role requires physical presence in a technical environment. Remote work is not available. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Company bus services available from many locations.
