About the job
Join Our Team as a Helpende at Grebbestraat
At Odion, recognized multiple times as the 'Best Employer' in the care for individuals with disabilities, we understand that genuine care is found in the little things. If you are a compassionate individual who notices every detail, we invite you to bring your talents to our Grebbestraat location as a Helpende +.
Your Aspirations
You envision yourself in a role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of others. You find fulfillment in helping others daily, and pursuing this passion professionally feels like the right path for you. Do you wish to be a reliable support for the residents of Grebbestraat? This is your opportunity to be meaningful in their lives! Additionally, with Odion, you have the chance to advance from Helpende (FWG 25) to Helpende + (FWG 30) through our internal training modules.
Your Responsibilities
As a Helpende (FWG 25)
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and support with meals and hydration.
- Encourage clients to maintain their independence and tailor care to their individual needs.
- Establish a trusting relationship with clients who struggle to express their needs, recognize their signals, and respond appropriately to their emotional and practical requirements.
Initially, you will be engaged in daily care at the FWG 25 level. After your onboarding period, you can, in consultation with your team and practice supervisor, pursue the Helpende + module, which includes:
As a Helpende + (FWG 30)
- Administering and providing medication.
- Measuring vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, heart rate).
- Guiding clients with mild intellectual disabilities or acquired brain injury, deepening the care provided.
In this way, you will primarily operate at the FWG 25 level during your initial months, with the aim of progressing to FWG 30 and making an even greater impact.
Location
You will be based at our Grebbestraat location in Beverwijk. This modern apartment complex is designed for young adults with physical or intellectual disabilities and/or acquired brain injury (NAH). Here, clients truly come first.
