As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Operator, you will perform inspections and assessments to ensure the quality and integrity of materials, structures, and installations. Your primary duties will take place on-site at client locations, where a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and quality is paramount. Utilizing established testing methods and procedures, you will evaluate objects and installations, documenting results accordingly. While you will often work independently, collaboration with colleagues and clients is essential for the successful completion of projects.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare and conduct non-destructive tests in accordance with established methods, procedures, and standards.
Set up, inspect, and calibrate materials, tools, and measuring equipment prior to commencing work.
Pre-treat surfaces to be tested, including cleaning and degreasing, to ensure accurate measurements.
Execute various NDT methods, carefully collecting, interpreting, and evaluating test results.
Document findings in clear and precise reports in line with applicable guidelines.
Coordinate work execution with clients or project managers to foster a positive collaborative environment on-site.
Adhere to all safety, environmental, and HSQE regulations to ensure safe execution of assignments.
