This position acts as the primary coordination hub for all energy control activities that affect construction and tool hook-up operations, covering various energy sources such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, gas, and stored energy.Collaborating closely with Construction Management, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Commissioning (Cx), and Operations/Facilities, the Energy Marshal oversees isolations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work (PTW) processes, facilitating safe work practices in a complex, high-tech environment.Key Responsibilities1) Energy Control & Safety Implement and enforce Energy Control Procedures (ECPs) and LOTO programs for all construction and commissioning activities within the fab and its supporting facilities. Identify, verify, and document all energy sources, including but not limited to: High, medium, and low voltage electrical systems Process gases and ultra-high purity (UHP) gases Chemicals and chemical distribution Vacuum, compressed air, water, and thermal systems Stored mechanical energy and other hazardous energy sources Validate that isolations, locks, tags, and zero-energy verification are in place and documented before commencing work.
