Fylter Ltd. is actively seeking a talented and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to enhance our busy factory operations located on the outskirts of Edinburgh in Bonnyrigg. This role is perfect for someone proficient in factory line maintenance and engineering.
About Us:
Our manufacturing facility employs around 150 dedicated individuals, committed to processing laundry efficiently using advanced machinery. The engineering team, consisting of five skilled professionals, plays a crucial role in ensuring operational continuity and minimizing downtime.
Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of our engineering team, your duties will include the installation of new equipment, performing running repairs, conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and proactively addressing issues. You will also be responsible for disassembling and thoroughly cleaning machines to ensure optimal performance.
This position requires both electrical and mechanical expertise, but we are particularly interested in candidates who are qualified electrical engineers to complement our team effectively.
