Klaviyo’s mission is to enable businesses to take control of their growth. As the Director of Engineering - Growth & Engagement, you will spearhead a portfolio of product engineering teams that are integral to the customer journey: from acquisition to value realization and the overall Klaviyo-powered commerce experience.
This role encompasses leadership over three interconnected teams: K-Social, which transforms social interactions into actionable data that enhances the Klaviyo profile; Growth, responsible for onboarding, activating users from free to paid tiers, and cross-selling within our product-led growth framework; and Customer Hub, which creates a seamless, personalized onsite account experience integrating merchandising, support, offers, and self-service options.
You’ll manage an organization of approximately 30+ engineers across these domains, including several direct reports, and work collaboratively with Product, Design, Data, GTM, and Support teams. This is a Director-level position for a product-oriented, AI-first engineering leader who excels at translating strategy into execution, fostering a culture of experimentation, and enhancing the quality of customer-facing products.
