About the Role
We are in search of a meticulous Kiosk Assembly Operator to aid in the assembly and preparation of Eyebot's vision-testing kiosks. This hands-on role emphasizes the accurate and consistent execution of assembly work instructions. Collaborating with our skilled technicians and engineers at the Charlestown facility, you will play a crucial part in making our kiosks ready for large-scale deployment.
This position offers an hourly wage of $25, with a target of 40 hours per week (8.5 hours per day, including a scheduled 30-minute break, Monday through Friday). Comprehensive training and work instructions will be provided.
What You’ll Do:
Assemble and prepare Eyebot kiosks by adhering to detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Handle circuit board components and perform light electrical assembly tasks as directed.
Utilize hand tools and basic equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
Inspect completed assemblies for quality and report any issues to the team lead.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with facility standards.
Document daily output and log completed work as part of hourly production reporting.
Collaborate closely with fellow operators, technicians, and engineers to achieve production goals.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications
Hands-on assembly experience in a production, manufacturing, or technical environment.
Comfort with circuit boards and electronic components.
Experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, torque drivers, etc.).
Ability to lift 30 to 40 pounds as required.
Strong attention to detail and the capability to follow written work instructions precisely.
