Our workplace is designed to support employee growth, offering numerous professional development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate under the guidance of a Project Supervisor or Project Manager.- Conduct extensive legal research for trial staff.- Assist in drafting various legal documents, including motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.- Review and perform research for Release of Information (ROI).- Analyze new cases and research applicable laws.- Edit final decisions and draft legal opinions on recent cases.- Review cases for issuance and respond to citizen inquiries.- Review AMICUS briefs and brief attorneys on legal theories and facts.- Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.- Perform cite checking using online legal research tools, including Westlaw and Lexis, along with Bluebook guidelines.Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or current attendance at an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study. Equivalent legal training or experience may be considered.- Strong understanding of federal and state court systems and legal research methodologies.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
