Our client is the European headquarters of a prominent South Korean manufacturer specializing in industrial electronics. Operating in Europe since 2009, the company is headquartered in the Netherlands and has a key subsidiary in Brescia, Italy. They excel in sales, logistics, technical support, and business development of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and automation solutions, encompassing LV VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs. The Italian office acts as a vital hub, expanding its network of partners across Europe.
About the Role
To bolster sales operations and improve pre- and post-sales support, our client is on the lookout for a Sales Manager/Associate. This pivotal role involves managing existing customer relationships, sourcing and onboarding new partners, and delivering comprehensive technical and commercial support. The ideal candidate will possess a robust commercial acumen paired with a technical foundation. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing new customer relationships (distributors/OEMs)
- Offering commercial and technical assistance to distributors and partners throughout Italy
- Proactively seeking out and engaging potential customers
- Responding to inquiries and providing technical insights regarding the product line
- Crafting and executing innovative sales strategies to strengthen key account engagement
- Delivering daily performance reports and communicating customer feedback to the country manager
- Managing various office-related tasks as needed
