In this pivotal role, you will lead your team to ensure that assembly processes within your scope meet the required compliance standards (subframe, CDC, framework, openings, and body assembly finish).Responsibilities:During the Design Phase:Address feasibility inquiries related to vehicle geometric synthesis (product/process feasibility, responses to dimensional chain architecture).Develop geometric documentation for your scope (determining the iso-statics of stamped raw parts, assembly reference points, control processes, and measurement ranges while ensuring proper consideration of control points by the metrology service).Collaborate with partner departments (assemblers and robotic engineers) to contribute to process development.Physically validate assembly means and control range.During the Industrialization Phase:Participate in the reception of assembly means.Conduct geometric validation activities for assembly means.Analyze defects and review reports on stamped parts, establishing monitoring plans and relaying information to the geometry lead.Define action plans and fine-tuning adjustments.Propose both temporary and permanent solutions.Communicate the progress of your scope and action plans to your direct supervisor following the client's prescribed format.
