Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Events Manager to join our team as a maternity cover. This pivotal role will manage the planning and execution of various third-party events that are already contracted at Brooklyn Storehouse. In addition, the Events Manager will support the General Manager and Head of Operations in planning and delivering a busy event calendar during the spring and summer seasons. While the role primarily focuses on corporate, cultural, brand, and private events, occasional operational support for music events may be required.
The Events Manager will serve as the primary liaison for clients and vendors, overseeing logistics, vendor management, staffing coordination, compliance, contracting, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale venue operations, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a hands-on approach to managing complex events in a fast-paced environment.
This role also entails administrative duties, including managing the venue's calendar, handling sales inquiries, and assisting the General Manager and Head of Operations in operational coordination.
