Key Responsibilities:
Enhance the capabilities of the production team through targeted training and development initiatives.
Draft and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for production staff to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Evaluate and provide training for equipment setters to enhance operational competency.
Report performance outcomes to the APU Shift Leader to support operational decisions.
Assist the APU Shift Leader and managers in troubleshooting shop floor challenges.
Recommend technical improvements to production processes to minimize costs, lead times, and inventory levels.
Analyze equipment performance metrics and implement corrective actions, including CAPA.
Implement and promote continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, TPM, SMED, and VSM.
Lead workgroups focused on continuous improvement and develop actionable plans.
Document and communicate enhancements in equipment cycle times proactively.
Serve as the primary contact for standard audits within the production process.
Act as the production representative in industrialization projects, participating in FAT, design reviews, and ramp-up phases.
Contribute to the development, reception, and validation of new equipment in production.
Share best practices and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on APU processes across the organization.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform additional duties as assigned.
