Role overview The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician works closely with veterinarians to provide care during critical situations. The position centers on triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and critical care nursing, while also supporting pet owners through challenging moments. What you will do Deliver respectful and compassionate care to every patient and pet owner. Respond quickly and confidently in emergencies, from initial triage through discharge. Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and carry out advanced treatments such as IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions. Communicate clearly with colleagues and assist in developing treatment plans. Be ready to perform CPR as needed, with ongoing training provided to build confidence and skill. Location This position is based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
