As a Quality Inspector, you will collaborate with the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager to implement and achieve quality objectives across the organization. Your contributions will help enhance product quality and optimize operational systems, ultimately reducing costs.
You will be expected to adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to cGMP, ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with standard work procedures is essential.
In this role, you will read and interpret part drawings, data, manuals, and other documentation to identify specifications and inspection procedures. Your analytical skills will be crucial in evaluating test data and conducting necessary computations to assess test results.
Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting samples for testing or modeling purposes, comparing product attributes against standards, and ensuring that all documentation is compliant with established procedures and best practices.
As part of your duties, you may need to reject products that do not meet specifications, engage in discussions regarding inspection outcomes, and suggest corrective actions when necessary. You will also conduct inspections and measurements using various instruments to verify that products conform to specifications.
Documentation is a key aspect of this position; you will be required to write nonconformance reports, rework instructions, and deviation reports as needed. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary.
