Objective:The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR operations, ensuring the seamless adaptation and implementation of HR policies and procedures across APC’s locations in Africa.Key Responsibilities:Human Resource Management:Thoroughly analyze and stay informed about all regulations related to human resource administration.Develop and manage the personnel plans and budgets for each project undertaken by the company in Colombia.Coordinate and supervise the publication of job vacancies across various divisions.Conduct effective recruitment processes in alignment with the guidelines established by the integrated management system.Design and implement training schedules to enhance the personal and professional development of staff, thereby improving their working conditions.Provide advisory support to all departments regarding human resource administration.Utilize HR information system tools to automate HR processes and generate analytical reports that enhance efficiency and effectiveness while providing critical HR insights.Ensure adherence to all legal obligations concerning personnel management.Policies, Processes, and Procedures:Lead the development and implementation of human resource and administrative policies, systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant procedural and legislative requirements while delivering high-quality, cost-effective results.Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by adapting to changes in international standards, business environments, and adopting industry best practices in human resource administration.Safety, Health, and Environment:Adhere to all relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.Engage in incident and accident investigations as required, in accordance with established safety, health, and environmental protocols.Report any changes within APC that could impact relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies.Team Collaboration:Actively engage in on-the-job training initiatives.Foster commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm towards team objectives and guide team members through periods of change and uncertainty.Ensure team alignment with AGC’s values, policies, processes, and systems.Qualifications:Knowledge and Experience:Extensive understanding of local employment legislation is essential.Experience in utilizing HR ERP systems is required.Demonstrated ability to manage and develop HR functions.
