Role Overview The Finance Manager - Central Services and Costs at Vivo Energy provides financial management for the Central Services function in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. This role supports the broader Finance vision and acts as a key link between Central Finance and Operating Unit Finance teams. Responsibilities span strategic planning, financial reporting, accounting, project support, and cost management. The Finance Manager works closely with Controllers and teams in Tax, Treasury, and Portfolio, ensuring cohesive financial operations across the organization. Main Responsibilities Financial Leadership Deliver finance services to the Central Finance Function, including support for Tax, Treasury, Credit, Asset Accounting, and Central Cost Recharging. Promote collaboration between Central Finance and Operating Unit Finance teams. Contribute to the Central Finance Accounting and Reporting Team by challenging existing practices and supporting sustainable improvements. Build and maintain relationships with Central Corporate Finance, Legal, Tax, Internal Control, and Accounting teams. Engage with budget holders across Central Functions to manage, report, and recharge central costs. Develop financial leadership skills within Central Services Finance teams to support finance talent growth. Strategy and Business Planning Support the development and planning of Central Cost Recharging models. Oversee planning for key Central Capex Budgets. Deliver the Central Cost Plan in coordination with business owners and the FP&A Planning team. Lead the planning process for companies under direct management, ensuring accountability and alignment with strategy. Governance and Controls The Finance Manager ensures a strong financial control and governance framework that meets internal and external requirements.
